Iris biometric verification is the well known method which is used to recognizes millions of people under various circumstances all around the world. The Iris authentication can be easily adopted and can not be easily faked. This technology is being used in various fields like in healthcare sectors, National Ids, workforce management, hospital, law enforcement, hospital, colleges, etc. Therefore, to relish iris authentication limitless advantage without any impersonation is crucial to achieve. The human eye is having the two irise's pattern so if one pattern is compromised or stolen, then some alternative should be there so that they revoked iris biometric's pattern again and in other applications they can avoid cross-matching. Hence, the concept of cancelable biometrics is introduced which can secure the biometric template. Cancelable biometrics refers to the intentional and systematically repeatable distortion of biometric features in order to protect sensitive user-specific data. If a cancelable feature is compromised, the distortion characteristics are changed, and the same biometrics is mapped to a new iris template, which is used subsequently. In this paper the various methodology related in the field of cancelable iris biometric have been discussed for iris biometrics template.
