Abstract—Perception is the base point of our works. In robotics domain, driving assistance or healthcare in hospital or at home, it is necessary to perceive lots of data and to treat them in order to react about a special event. In this paper, we present a perception architecture based on sensors to provide an unification layer for sensors based works. We use a service oriented architecture (SOA) to achieve a dynamic perception layer. We present here the essentials layers to acquire sensors data by the way of a publish/subscribe software bus and layers to use those sensors data. To illustrate our architecture, we take the example of the smart home which has to provide context-awareness services to the inhabitants
