P‐65: The Thickness of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive and Modulus Influence on Foldable Display's Cover Mechanical Performance

Pencil hardness and bendability tradeoff in foldable displays is one of the main problem in terms of reliability. As solution, an optimized laminate that includes the use of high modulus pressure sensitive adhesive and conventional hard coating was experimentally and analytically studied. Results showed an increase of pencil hardness without compromising bendability.
