In this paper we present a routing scheme, which provides enhancement to greedy geographical routing known as adaptive load balancing, along with additional colouration feature, RTS and CTS are used. Main goal is to showcase our scheme as an energy-efficient which achieves remarkable performance. Here we present adaptive load balancing scheme, a novel scheme for sensor networks based on geographic routing, channel contention, and load balancing. Relay selection mechanism avoids nodes that are heavily loaded, and is able to successfully handle higher traffic loads than comparable solutions. We also present colouration, an additional feature of load balancing scheme that makes it possible to solve the problem of dead ends, this feature together solves the problem of routing around dead ends. More importantly, unlike other solutions currently available in the literature, load balancing with colouration is very efficient. Broad set of simulations claim that this scheme outperforms similar solutions.
