ECCVUE: A computer generated method of training eccentric viewing

The results of a retrospective study of the client records of persons attending the Visual Rehabilitation Clinic at La Trobe University will be presented. This retrospective study analyses the reduction in print size which a client is able to achieve following eccentric viewing training and the impact of improved visual function on tasks of daily living. This study indicates that eccentric viewing training significantly ameliorates the effects of sight loss caused by agerelated maculopathy.
