This paper aims to construct an automated color sorter conveyor system for sorting yarn carriers. This scheme also includes a stacker assembly that lifts the yarn carriers from the input conveyor and provides them for sorting one by one to sort the conveyor. When placed on the conveyor belt, the yarn carriers are sorted on the basis of color detection and transferred to a particular location. The colour sensor gives the controller the appropriate data when a yarn carrier shifts from one location to another on the conveyor belt, which then gives the pneumatic cylinder the order to transfer the yarn carrier into the respective container.
