Digital image processing has been increasing exponentially in the last few decades. Its applications range from medicine to entertainment. Almost in every field, digital image processing puts a live effect on things and is growing with time to time and with new technologies. This paper presents a better mechanism to retrieve the text contents present in the images and to obtain more accurate results. Sometimes users are interested in the content present in the image. Content-Based text Retrieval is one of the techniques which extract the required image based on the given text data using the technique Optical Character Recognition and thus it saves the time and minimize the overhead of user to locate the needed information.
