This is an erratum to ‘Learning the blending spikes using sparse dictionaries’. In the original version of this article, due to our carelessness, Shaohuan Zu's affiliation was erroneously marked as ‘School of Earth Sciences, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province 310027, China’. The correct affiliation of Shaohuan Zu is State Key Laboratory of Petroleum Resources and Prospecting, China University of Petroleum, Fuxue Road 18th Beijing 102200, China.
