Use of Docker for Building containerized NS2 in case of MIMC communications

NS-2 is a network simulator tool which is used to simulate and analyze the wired and wireless networks; it provides the substantial support for the simulation of different type of protocols. In the different versions of NS2, the design of this simulator is based on a single interface single channel; which makes the implementation of multi-interface multi-channel (MIMC) more difficult and more complex. So, the work in this paper is to provide a more generic solution which based on containerization technology, allowing the researchers to have complete flexibility when using the configuration of MIMC scenarios. By applying our solution (NS2-MIMC), the researchers will be able to run their simulations on any environment without the need to install and con figure NS-2.
