2D-QSAR analysis on compounds (N-phenylpyrolidin-2-ones and N-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-2-ones) whose inhibitory activity of PPO(protoporphyrinogen oxidase)

A 2D-QSAR analysis was carried out on a series of compounds having a basic molecule (N-phenylpyrolidin-2-ones and N-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-2-ones), this study concerns the relationship between the structure of the compounds and their inhibitory activity of PPO (protoporphyrinogen oxidase). Reliable results have been obtained after many attempts. Statistical methods have been performed to determine a structure-activity relationship such as: principal component analysis, multiple linear regression and multiple nonlinear regression. These results allow us to propose new molecules after high predicted activities.
