Jana Shafi mohd Jana · 2012

Software testing is the process of executing a program with the intent of finding errors. The purpose of testing can be quality assurance, verification and validation, or reliability estimation. Testing can be used as a generic metric as well. Correctness testing and reliability testing are two major areas of testing. Software testing is a trade-off between budget, time and quality. In this paper we have compared the different functional testing techniques like boundary value analyses, robust testing, worst testing, equivalent technique. And we have applied these techniques on well known ellipse and point equation as a result we have shown the advantages and disadvantages of techniques.
