Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) are the quintessence of the integration of several Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the learning process. In this study, we investigate the performance of a multi-user Virtual Reality Learning Environment (VRLE), incorporating high-fidelity avatars, as a tool for enhancing learning experience in VLEs. This work presents the system architecture along with preliminary evaluation results provided by 19 post-graduate students.
