Internet of Things is the advanced Technology in Computing. In this Technology, anything around us can connect to the internet with the unique IP address, so everything can share their feeling like human beings. It has vast applications in fields like Industries, Agricultures, healthcare etc. Each thing in IoT act as a Node. As the nature of the IoT Nodes is less constrained, it leads to many security attacks like worm hole. Black hole, rank attack, etc. one of the major issue in the RPL based networks is the black hole attack. RPL is the Routing protocol used in the 6LoWPAN protocol of IoT. In this attack the node is the malicious node and it drops many packets. This paper proposed an Anomaly based technique for detection and prevention of black hole attack specifically for the RPL Based networks. The reading of performance for the proposed system was done in the NS2 simulator by considering the parameters like End-End delay, Packet delivery ratio and throughput.
