Security has been one of the major issues prevalent in the Internet. To ensure secure, encrypted connections over the Internet, Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols were established. TLS relies on validating SSL certificates containing public keys of domains and are provided by Certificate Authorities(CAs). However, mis-issued certificates have been used to attack users. To overcome this, Certificate Transparency (CT) was introduced. The centralised nature of CT had several issues, and to overcome them, a decentralised system, IKP was proposed. Although CT and IKP have mitigated certificate authentication issues, they fail to consider domain misbehaviour in using these certificates.
