Estimation of Spreading Code in non-periodic Long-Code DSSS Signal

To estimate the spreading code of the non-periodic long-code DSSS (NPLC-DSSS) signal, this paper proposed a similarity reconstruction estimation method. the Coefficient of Similarity (CS) was used to reconstruct the periodicity of NPLC-DSSS signal. Then, the spreading sequence is estimated using eigen-value decomposition (EVD). Simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm can effectively estimate the spreading sequence of NPLC-DSSS signals for low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) case.
