The report deals with the problem of developing and analyzing the characteristics of routing algorithms that ensure economical use of on-Board electricity of network nodes (energy-efficient routes). The urgency of the problem is caused by the need to increase the time of Autonomous functioning of the sensor network. Reducing power consumption is achieved by creating routes with small distances between adjacent nodes. This problem is solved if the network nodes are located and operate within a flat bounded area. For each route section, the required transmission power is determined based on the minimum energy potential value that ensures the specified data transmission quality. The analysis of the metric properties of routes is carried out, the requirements for energy-efficient routes and the conditions under which the network is fully connected are determined. Limitations of local routing methods are determined and options for improving the efficiency of energy-efficient routing algorithms are proposed.
