A CCR limits the throughput of the plant and controls due-date performance. We have to ensure, on the one hand, that the CCR is not scheduled to produce more than it&s;s capacity and on the other hand not to waste any of its capacity by allowing any slack in its schedule. Finally, we have to sequence production at the CCR in a manner that will result in good due-date performance.
