Tarek S. El-Bawab · IEEE Communications Magazine · 2021

The second decade of the twenty first Century was the warmest decade since recordkeeping of temperatures started in 1880. Seven years of this decade are listed among the warmest ten years on record. So far, it has caused polar-ice melting, rising sea levels, floods, heat waves, droughts, wildfires, storms, disruption of animal life and of our ecosystem. Climate change is one of the biggest threats humanity faces today.
