Mobile Health for covid-19 Pandemic Surveillance in Developing Countries: the case of Saudi Arabia

Recently, Covid-19 pandemic has been causing a large number of deaths as well as hugeeconomic losses all over the world. Future pandemics probably influence more and more especially indeveloping countries due to their shortage in surveillance and healthcare resources. E-Health servicessignificantly helps detecting and reporting any potential pandemic through employing digital data to betransmitted electronically labeled and retrieved local and distance sites. The implying of eHealth can solvethis problem but at the same time it is considered to be costly expensive, which developing countries areprevented from using it due to their limited technical and financial resources. However, Smart-phonescommunication technologies continually improve access to and the ability to be afforded eHealth serviceseven for the countries which have limited resources. Therefore, the present paper clarifies the way that aLocation tracking using Smart-phone devices can be employed in m-Health, which supposedly assistcovid-19 pandemic surveillance in developing countries.
