This issue of the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science is devoted to the 11th. IEEE/NPSS Real-Time Conference (RT99) on Computing Applications in Nuclear, Particle and Plasma Physics held in Santa Fe, New Mexico-June 14-18, 1999. A total of 95 papers were submitted for publication in TNS; after the peer-review process, 80 papers were accepted for publication.
