A New Signature Based on Blockchain

Li Guo, Caihui Lan · 2020

For E-commerce scenes like online transaction or online lottery, security issues arises on anonymity protection for legal users and traceability on illegal ones. This paper introduces a new blockchain-based signature scheme to provide both anonymity and traceability. This scheme requires a credible center to distribute initial private key and to add public key for each user, who can sign at any public key belonging to them. Compared to PKI, it enables verifiers checking validity of signers' public keys in certain blocks without looking up entire certificate list. Unlike Identity-based cryptography, this solution also keeps each user's identity anonymous to other users since the identity is only known by the user and the credible center.
