This chapter helps the readers to learn how to use a tilt sensor switch which is used to detect small angle of inclination. Tilt sensors (tilt ball switch) allow to detect orientation or inclination. They are small, inexpensive, low-power and easy-to-use. Their simplicity makes them popular for toys, gadgets and appliances. When the sensor is tilted, the ball does not touch the poles, the poles are open, and current does not flow. The tilt sensor is a simple sensor that can indicate whether it is tilted or not. This can be uploaded to the cloud and stored. The digital value of the tilt sensor (1 or 0) can be used to detect inclination in gadgets or appliances.
