Ultrasonic Sensor Parking Assistant With Arduino Uno

This study aims to create a reverse car parking assistant with Arduino Uno-based microcontroller. This tool is equipped with two distance sensors: HC-SR 04 ultrasonic and MP3 Shield. The HC-SR 04 ultrasonic sensors are installed at two points at the rear of the car. MP3 Shield is used to play sounds that contain .mp3. MP3 Shield will produce sounds as the guide for drivers to reverse, slowly or stop. This parking assistant is also equipped with a 16X2 LCD screen which functions to display the distance between the car and the object behind it. The test results show that this tool can provide precise distance information in accordance with the actual distance.
