Research on FM telemetry and demodulation performance of ship borne rocket based on MSD

In ship borne TT&C system, PCM-FM system is widely used in rocket telemetry and demodulation. In practical application, due to the interference of rocket tail flame, the attitude changes frequently, the ship rocking is larger, the remote demodulation threshold is higher and so on, as a result, the ground equipment has a high probability of error code when the signal-to-noise ratio is lower than the demodulation threshold. In view of this situation, multi-symbol detection technology (MSD) can be used to reduce the demodulation threshold, overcome the adverse effects of the environment and threshold effect. This paper analyzes and verifies the performance of MSD technology used in rocket telemetry and demodulation, and provides a new parameter configuration mode, which is useful for practical engineering.
