Users of social media sites and mobile applications are exposed to different attacks by criminals trying to steal their personal information, privacy and cookies from the sites.This article explores social media risks, how users' privacy is threatened on social media networks, threat classifications on social media, and the reasons for privacy leaks in real online social networks.In addition, effective measures are clarified against each attack to protect users' personal information.
