Real-Time Image Mosaic Technology Based on DSP

In the range,in order to get the image of wide field of view and high resolution, the real-time image-mosaic system based on DSP was designed.The system obtain image of two field of view sensor,and then mosaic within the DSP.At last,the standard numeric format was exported for other systems.The hardware principle of image mosaic-system was given.As the frame rate of the two sensors was 100Hz,the traditional image mosaic algorithm cannot satisfy the real-time requirement.So the phase correlation algorithm was used to determine the similar area to reduce time for mosaic image.The experiment was taken. The result showed that the time for real-time image mosaic was average 7ms,which meets the real-time requirements.The system is stable and reliable,which meets the practical requirements of range measurement.
