Let k be a finite field and E be a function field over k. If E/k(x) is a separable finite extension with [E : k(x)] > 1, then for any function field K over k there exist infinitely many non-isomorphic extensions L/K such that [L : K] = [E : k(x)] and AutK L ∼= Autk(x) E.
