This paper investigates the intrinsic relationship between trust mobile and coverage based on trust evaluation and update in hybrid wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Unlike traditional deployment schemes, which only consider coverage and connectivity of hybrid WSNs, the security of sensor nodes in mobile deployment also need to be addressed. Trust is used to evaluate the uncertain risk while mobile sensor nodes move in the deployment. To ensure the security of deployment, we propose a novel trust evaluation and update scheme and then illustrate a method to construct mobile-trust protocol (MTPL), wherein the correctness of the trust evaluation and update scheme is the foundation of the mobile-trust protocol. By employing virtual force, the proposed mobile-trust protocol can maximize the network coverage under the premise of defensing pollution attack and repetitive attack in hybrid WSNs. Finally, we simulate the proposed protocol and evaluate its performance, The correctness and efficiency can also be validated from the simulation results.
