Application and Popularization of BIM Technology in Project Management

Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology changed the information-acquiring and transmitting approaches used in traditional project management.The paper analyzes participation parties including planning designers,property owners,constructors,property management and construction supervision agencies,and concludes that construction supervision agencies are the most proper pushing hands for the spread of BIM technology.It also proposes many popularization schemes in terms of building up BIM service companies,BIM inquiry offered by construction supervisors,construction supervision conducted by BIM consultancies,as well as the combination of construction supervision agencies and BIM consultancies.
