Application-oriented flow control algorithm and fairness

This paper is concerned with flow control and resource allocation problems in computer networks.The definition of utility α proportional fairness generalizes utility proportional fairness and includes arbitrarily close approximations of utility max-min fairness.This paper developed a new distributed flow control algorithm to achieve utility α proportional fairness in a given network.
