Implementation of Personalized Recommendation Algorithm based on Mahout

Abstract In the Information Age, the success of companies and individuals increasingly depends on how quickly and efficiently they can turn massive amounts of data into actionable information. This paper first introduces the definition of recommendation algorithm and the process of collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm, then introduces the classification of algorithms in the Apache Mahout Framework, finally, the principles of user-based personalized recommendation algorithm and project-based personalized recommendation algorithm in Mahout framework are described and implemented respectively.
