The Importance of Free-Hand Sketching in Conceptual Design: Automatic Sketch Input

D. L. Jenkins, R. R. Martin · 1993

This statement is supported by an examination of free-hand drawing, a brief overview of some commercially available drawing packages and a discussion of other authors’ work in this area. Finally we present objectives for automatic sketch input and their partial realisation in our drawing system called Easel.
