This paper covers the scope of monitoring various services like Windows server, Linux servers, networking devices(Router, switches etc.) or Security devices(Cyber security firewall, IPS,WAF devices) and Websites using SNMP protocol in real time for proactive monitoring of data center. This study provides case study using Smart devices in open source tool using Open NMS for enterprise level data center operations by the use of SNMP protocol.[1] The main advantage of interactive monitoring is that user can check network health, availability ,alerts and notifications by using a web-based interface of application that decrease the rate of failures. In this paper we will evaluate monitoring enterprise level data center operations using SNMP protocols and related technology like Bluetooth based smart devices..
