Trust is an essential factor which plays crucial role in network security; specifically, over wireless sensor networks (WSN). It is a profound network technology which leads to an extension of Internet of Things (IoT). The model reliance is extensively directed by trust derivation as it influences functionality of various processes and reduces overheads. Moreover, WSN performance is sensitive towards system overhead because of constraints power and bandwidth allocation. This work concentrates on Energy based Reliance model (ER) using Co-operative Gaming (CoG) approach that handles the overhead encountered in WSN security. The gaming risk is considered when working in a co-operative manner is presented; based on this the nodes cooperation is also measured. Then, the gaming strategy is applied for improving the reliance of the proposed model. The simulation is done with MATLAB 2018a simulation environment. The anticipated model gives better efficiency and security which is appropriate for WSN and IoT.
