An Application Model that Leverages Microservice and Blockchain Technologies

In the last few years, blockchain technologies and microservices have been especially popular for developing web applications. This paper aims to offer a model for creating applications based on blockchain technologies and microservices. The proposed model belongs to the hybrid models using both centralized and decentralized model. An analysis of the separate technologies is proposed, assessing their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this analysis, an example model of an online store has been developed, as a typical representative of microservice architecture. This model can be used to create any application according to the developed template.
