The continuous data protection system based on IO replication for existing databases cannot meet the problem of data consistency. A CDP backup and recovery method for database consistency is proposed. The method determines the consistency status of the database by capturing and parsing the IO record of the transaction log, and stores the IO record set in the backup storage. The backup and recovery system performs a full backup of the database file to complete the initial backup, and gets IO record set by accessing the backup storage and performs data recovery based on the type of IO records to ensure logical consistency of the database. Experiments show that compared with the traditional CDP technology based on IO replication, the performance accuracy is significantly improved.
