Natural language translation is one of themost important researches carried out in theworld of Artificial Intelligent. In any applicationwhere a computer has to process naturallanguage, ambiguity is a problem. Many wordshave several meanings or senses. Meanings ofword play important role in translation system.Ambiguity problem is one of these problemswhich have been a great challenge for NaturalLanguage Processing (NLP.) In this paper, wepropose Myanmar Word Sense Disambiguation(WSD) algorithm based on mutual information.This MWSD system can solve the lexicalsemantic ambiguous (Noun, Verb, Adjective andAdverb) problems that are faced in Myanmar toEnglish translation. This system can also providethe nearest English meaning of the Myanmarinput words.
