VLO V1.1- A Vietnamese Lexicon Ontology for Universal Dependency Parsing
Tuyen Thi-Thanh Do, Dang Tuan Nguyen · 2020
Universal Dependency, which is developed from Stanford typed dependency, is a representation showing all dependencies between pairs of word in a sentence. In order to develop a Universal Dependency parser, a large Universal Dependency graphbank is needed. This graphbank can be built automatically with a converter. However, the converter may produce wrong dependencies because it does not have any semantic constraints between words in a sentence. Therefore, Vietnamese Lexicon Ontology has been built to provide these semantic constraints. In this paper, we would like to introduce the Vietnamese Lexicon Ontology version 1.1 in which the object properties have been modified to capture many syntactic and semantic dependencies between words in a sentence. We also present the affect of Vietnamese Lexicon Ontology version 1.1 on Universal Dependency parse result in Vietnamese as the evaluation of this ontology.
