Clause Level Reordering for Myanmar-English Translation System

Machine Translation (MT), one of themain problems to handle is word reordering.Myanmar Language and English language arelinguistically different language pairs. Myanmarlanguage is a verb final language and Englishlanguage is head initial language. AfterMyanmar to English language translationprocess, translated English words are needed toreorder to produce proper order of Englishsentence. Sentence level reordering systemconsists of word level, phrase level and clauselevel reordering processes. In order to get thecorrect order of English sentence, we proposeClause Level Reordering (CLR) Algorithm andArticle Checking Algorithm for Myanmar toEnglish translation system by mapping Englishgrammar patterns. CLR algorithm can reorderthe disorder words and it can also add relativewords which are not contain in the translatedsentence. Article missing words are added byusing Article Checking Algorithm. We evaluatethe effectiveness of proposed CLR algorithm withcompound and complex English sentences.
