Semantic-oriented Automatic Generation Method of REST Interface Test Cases

REST technology has become a mainstream interface implementation technology in the field of Internet Web applications and network management, and conformance testing is an indispensable link to ensure that REST interfaces can work normally. In the current situation where there is little research on the automatic generation of REST interface test cases that support semantics, based on the practice of REST interface testing, this paper proposes the formal definition of REST interface documents, test cases and semantic relations, and the method of automatically generates semantic-supported REST interface test cases. This method can reduce the workload of testers during REST interface testing and improve the efficiency of interface testing.
