Research on Application of Current Splitting Device in Nonlinear Measurement

The current splitting device (CSD) proposes a new method that can be used to verify the nonlinear characteristics of installed meters and reference meters that comply with current industry standards and trace the source to sine wave reference equipment. By using the CSD, the nonlinear characteristics of two different types of measuring instruments are tested. In this paper, we evaluate the potential errors during the measurement and its causes; then we propose a practical and reliable measurement method of nonlinear characteristic and help improve the design of CSD.
