Compression Encoding Based Myanmar Characters Embedding System

Nowadays, steganography plays a criticalrole in Information Security. A number ofsteganographic algorithms have been proposedby focusing on this property of a steganographicsystem. It is needed two bytes to hide singleMyanmar Unicode character in the stegographicsystem. This paper presents a system to embedMyanmar characters into the cover image byapplying Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique.This system proposed a compression technique ofMyanmar characters. It can reduce the size ofsingle character into one byte before hiding itinto the cover image by applying the proposedtechnique. So, it can compress the size ofmessage into half. It also provides another levelof protection over traditional LSB technique.
