Since geometry is such a visual subject, it can easily become an area in which technology should play a significant role. The Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM 1989, 159) states that “computer graphics software that allows students to create and manipulate shapes provides an exciting environment in which they can make conjectures and test their attempts at a twodimensional visualization.”
