Effectual Cloud Storage Management based on De-duplication Techniques: A Survey

The expeditious growth of computer technology leads to data eruption which requires more storage space. Conventional backup takes much time to store the data and it does not have the capability to avert duplication. To enhance cloud storage efficiency, various solutions have been developed. Data de-duplication is one of the powerful approaches that play a crucial role in managing the storage space. De-duplication removes unnecessary data and reduces the cost of storage. This article reviews the different existing methods for eliminating repeated data using de-duplication.
