Event-Based Synchronization of Nonlinear Dynamical Networks With Switching Topologies

Kwaku Ayepah, Mei Sun, Qiang Jia · 2020

This work is devoted to the event-triggered synchronization of dynamical networks with periodically switching topologies. By designing an time- and state-dependent triggering condition, some sufficient conditions in terms of the nodal dynamics, network topology, and triggering parameters are given to guarantee synchronization, which reveals the substantial role of the time average of the smallest nonzero eigenvalue of the Lalacian matrix over the switching period. Meanwhile, Zeno phenomenon is successfully excluded. Numerical simulations are also carried out to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.
