Proper marketing management is crucial for a good consumer base. It requires proper planning, analysis, and management of resources. Additionally, a supermarket is a place of dynamic business activity; small decisions like placement of products, offers during special occasions, and the choice of available brands can have a major impact on the consumer base. Thus, supermarkets need a good assessment that would allow the management to visualize the impacts of different strategies. Such strategy should rely on consumer behavior analysis. Tracking consumer eyesight in a simulated experiment will show how consumer buying behavior is immediately affected by their environment. A combination and healthy balance of such factors would make a good consumer base; much research has been carried out in this direction. The aim of this paper is to rank various supermarkets in a city using interval valued neutrosophic soft sets. This would enable managers to verify the results of their management plans accurately. To this end, we have collected data from 921 customers from seven supermarkets in Bangalore. The data is analyzed using an interval valued neutrosophic soft set to identify the buying decision of customers in various supermarkets.
