Group key management: Issues and opportunities

WSN is a wireless network with sensor nodes which are having limited energy, memory and computing power capacity. Now, its application areas are vast e.g. military, agriculture and environment etc. Sensors communicate with each other in the wireless environment so sensitive data needs to be secure in transmission path. Secure communication in WSN is a major challenging task. In this aspect, many researchers already proposed various algorithms. This paper contains analysis of some algorithms with the four parameters: Computation Cost, Communication Cost, Rekeying cost and key Storage cost.
