Internet services and technology have evolved in a variety of ways with complexity, management design, and operations that have caused devices to be connected and network traffic to increase rapidly. Network, by separating between the control system (control plane) and the forwarding system (data plane). The controller can provide centralized control by installing forwarding rules in the data field, and the switch performs different operations on the packet according to these rules. The way communication between the device and the controller uses a protocol called Openflow. To support a software-defined network, a method is needed to distribute computer network traffic in a balanced manner with several paths so that computer network traffic runs optimally; that method is the equal-cost multipath. In this study, the author conducted a trial using three different bandwidth, namely 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 150 Mbps. And the parameters tested are delay and packet rate by sending 1000 packets with the size of each packet of 1 Kb for 60 s with a traffic background of each link 100 Mbps. The results of the smallest delay test were obtained by 50 Mbps bandwidth with a large difference of 2.19% delay by 100 Mbps bandwidth and a large difference of 10.02% delay by 150 Mbps bandwidth. The largest packet rate testing is obtained by 50 Mbps bandwidth with a large difference in packet rate of 0.30% by 100 Mbps bandwidth and a large difference in packet rate of 9.19% by 150 Mbps bandwidth.
