Applying “40 Inventive Principles” is one of the earliest and most fundamental technique of TRIZ. There may be controversies on the application of other TRIZ tools, but all TRIZ schools and professionals are anonymous on the usefulness and application of Inventive Principles. The beauty of Inventive Principles is that they can be independently applied. They are easy to learn and easy to apply, but can solve difficult problems. Many TRIZ students start leaning with Inventive Principles. My learning on TRIZ also started with Inventive Principles.
