With the innovations in technology, most of the people are using communication media in 24X7 basis. So they are in need of a communication medium that securely transmits the data. So communication always demands new techniques to provide data security. One of the techniques to send the secret message/data to receiver is “hide it and then send”, that’s nothing but Steganography. Unlike Cryptography, which hides the contents of a secret message in a cryptic manner, Steganography hides the very fact that a message is communicated. If the hacker doesn’t know the presence of the secret message, then there is no chance of hacking the important data. This leads to provision of high data security. The message that is to be communicated may be in any of the forms like video, audio or simple text/text file. It can be hidden over a carrier file which may be a video, audio or text file. So we propose two different Steganography techniques MGLOEC and MGLIP
